WE ARE ONE TEAM,
ONE FAMILY – IT’S TIME TO GET TO KNOW US!

Michels Kliniken is a modern, family-owned healthcare company. At our rehabilitation centers in Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony, and Lower Saxony, we provide rehabilitation services in neurology, geriatrics, orthopedics, cardiology, and psychosomatic medicine.

Our mission is to promote the health and well-being of our patients, reduce the impact of illness, and provide sustainable support for their reintegration into work and society. We use systematic quality management (QM) in all our clinics to continuously evaluate, improve, and further develop patient-centered processes and our rehabilitation concepts. Multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teams from various specialties work hand in hand to help patients live more independently and return to their families, daily lives, and work.

Together, we accompany our patients with empathy, knowledge, and care over weeks, sometimes months. We invest our time in building a relationship with our patients in order to experience real successes and inspiring moments.

WE EMBRACE FAMILY VALUES

We are a privately owned family business, and we live by family values: appreciation, individuality, mutual support, and lasting unity. We listen to new ideas and develop them together. We create space for growth and contribution. We rethink health, and we grow together. Side by side, we embrace innovation and while preserving stability and security.

Hand in hand, we support people on their way back to a largely self-determined life in our rehabilitation clinics and therapy centers in Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony, and Lower Saxony. Respect, loyalty, fairness, tolerance, and equal opportunity, regardless of gender, culture, religion, or nationality, form the foundation of how we interact with each other, with our patients, and with their families.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

We deliver modern, guideline-based rehabilitation that complements the services of acute care hospitals as well as the physicians and therapists providing follow-up care. Our goal is to promote the health and well-being of our patients, reduce the impact of illness, and support sustainable reintegration into work and social life.  Across all our clinics, we apply systematic quality management to continuously evaluate, enhance, and further develop patient-centered processes and rehabilitation concepts.

OUR WORK WITH PATIENTS

Our qualified staff regularly take part in structured continuing education programs and serve as trusted contacts for our patients, guided by the following ideals:

01

Patients receive the best possible treatment, care, and attention – with the primary goal of ensuring lasting participation in daily and social life.

02

We preserve and promote the dignity, freedom, and self-determination of the people entrusted to our care in every situation.

03

We view the active involvement of patients and their families in treatment as a central part of our care.

We provide our employees with the necessary skills they need to fulfill their tasks and actively involve them in decision-making processes. We know that rehabilitation medicine can only secure its place in the German healthcare system through outstanding expertise and genuine human care.

Other Business Areas

We operate two long-term care centers for patients with severe brain injuries, as well as several residential care facilities that, in cooperation with our rehabilitation clinics, provide specialized services for stroke patients. In addition, we run several senior residences in Brandenburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony, and Thuringia.
